TDP MLA Kodali Nani made some damaging statements against Kavitha the daughter of TRS supremo KCR. He claimed that Kavitha demanded money to let Adurs have a peaceful screening. He claimed that he refused to give money and took the protection of the police who guarded the Adurs film.

"Just like Adurs had become a big hit, the Samaikyandhra movement too would become a big hit. The KCR and their TRS party people were not able to stop the screening of the Adurs movie and this itself shows how vain their threats to stop the movie were" he said.

He compared the TRS leaders especially KCR and Kavitha to a barking dogs. He claimed that just like barking dogs do not bite, the TRS leaders cannot do anything.

Incidentally he also came down heavily on his own party members too along with the Congress and the TRS leaders. "KCR, KTR, Kavitha, TDP leader Nagam, Congress leader Jana Reddy etc need to change their their language and stop useless slogans like 'cutting of tongues' etc " he said.
